The Imam Hussain Foundation is pleased to present this translation of the original Arabic text titled Ma’sat al-Zahra’ (A.S.): Shubuhat wa Rudad by the scholar-critic Sayyid Ja`fer Murtada al-`amili, the first Arabic edition of which was published in two volumes in Thil-Hijja 1417/April 1997 by Dar al-Sira of Beirut, Lebanon. We preferred to publish it in one volume in order to make all its text available to the reader.

Most likely, the reader is curious about the linguistic ability and educational background of this book’s translator; therefore, we would like to say a word about him by way of introduction.
